Contemplation Cinema Movement seeks to bring slow contemplative cinema to a wider audience and cultivate meaningful discussions around it. It aims to inspire and support artists who create slow cinema. 

Beyond cinema, the movement also seeks to promote a contemplative way of living—one that values slowness, reflection, and deep thought—as an alternative to the fast-paced and restless nature of modern society.

  அடுத்த மாதம், ஜூலை 19, ஞாயிற்றுக்கிழமை மாலை 5.00 மணி முதல் 8.00 மணி வரை , எழுத்தாளரும் ஆய்வாளருமான ஜமாலன் , டெல்யூஸின் சினிமா தத்துவம் குறித்து உரையாட இருக்கிறார். டெல்யூஸின் சினிமா தத்துவம், திரைப்படக் கோட்பாட்டில் மிகவும் முக்கியமான ஒன்றாகக் கருதப்படுகிறது. அவர் சினிமா வரலாற்றை இரண்டு வகைகளாகப் பிரிக்கிறார்: Movement-Image Time-Image இதைப் பற்றி, இயக்குநரும் திரைக்கதை ஆசிரியருமான பால் ஷ்ராடர் (Paul Schrader) தனது Transcendental Style in Film: Ozu, Bresson, Dreyer என்ற புத்தகத்தில் சுருக்கமாகக் குறிப்பிடுகிறார். அதன் தமிழாக்கத்தை கீழே பதிவிட்டுள்ளேன். டெல்யூஸின் கருத்தை மிகவும் எளிமையாகச் சொன்னால் , சினிமாவின் வரலாறு இரண்டு முக்கியமான காட்சி அனுபவங்களாகப் பிரிகிறது: மூவ்மெண்ட்-இமேஜ் (Movement-Image) டைம்-இமேஜ் (Time-Image) மூவ்மெண்ட்-இமேஜ் என்பது சினிமா தோன்றிய காலத்திலிருந்து இரண்டாம் உலகப்போருக்குப் பிந்தைய காலம் வரை ஆதிக்கம் செலுத்திய சினிமா வடிவமாகும். இது திரையில் காணப்படும் இயக்கத்தை (movement) அடிப்படையாகக் கொண்டது. திரையில் ஒரு மனிதன் ஓடிக்கொண்டிருக்க...
